pH Buffers Hold PH Constant (At least for a minute)

We’re learning about pH and how common that pH crashes are. We go over why this happens in the pH sections of the book and this web site and also in the video to follow.

The summary of buffers is that these compounds or additives take a “good pH” and make it STAY good.

Examples include

• Crushed Oyster Shell
• Crushed coral
• SeaChem Regulators (Neutral for example)
• Crushed Limestone
• pH pills
